Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PTverse you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

PTverse currently provides NPTE preparation, AI Study Lab, interactive learning, and selected career-reference tools. A separate clinician workspace, including documentation, clinical support, evidence search, and specialist preparation, may be offered later. PTverse is a study and productivity aid only — it does not replace clinical judgment, formal education, or licensed professional advice.

3. Not Medical or Legal Advice

All content on PTverse — including AI-generated clinical notes, triage responses, practice questions, and study materials — is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, clinical diagnosis, legal advice, or a guarantee of passing any examination. Always apply independent professional judgment in clinical settings.

4. Patient Data — Important Notice

PTverse is not offered as a HIPAA-compliant electronic health record or as a service for storing Protected Health Information (PHI). Do not enter patient-identifying information into clinical notes, triage, lecture transcription, or any other PTverse feature. This includes patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, contact details, images, or other identifying information. Use case numbers or fully de-identified descriptions only.

5. Recording and Transcription

The AI Study Lab feature allows you to use the AI Tutor, record or upload audio, photograph or upload notes, and upload documents to generate study materials. By using this feature you represent that:

  • You have obtained explicit permission from all persons being recorded, including instructors and other students.
  • You are complying with your institution's recording and academic integrity policies.
  • Recordings are used solely for your own personal study and will not be distributed or shared.
  • You will not record sessions involving identifiable patient information.

PTverse is not responsible for any legal or institutional consequences arising from unauthorized recording.

6. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use PTverse. By using the platform you represent that you meet this requirement.

7. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@ptverse.app of any unauthorized use.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Student subscriptions are billed monthly, every 3 months, or every 6 months depending on the option you select. Multi-month plans are charged upfront. All prices are in USD.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges at your selected billing interval until cancellation.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from account settings. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds: Refunds are issued only if requested within 7 days of the initial charge and the Service experienced significant downtime during that period. Email support@ptverse.app to request a refund.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute PTverse content
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Enter patient health information into the platform
  • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest content

10. Intellectual Property

All content on PTverse — including questions, games, clinical content, interface design, and software — is owned by PTverse and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission. Content you create (e.g., saved notes) remains yours.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

PTverse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that using it will result in passing the NPTE or any other examination.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PTverse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms without prior notice. You may request deletion of your account by emailing support@ptverse.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
