PTverse ("we", "us", or "our") is an educational platform designed for physical therapy students and licensed clinicians. We operate the PTverse mobile application and website.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), and professional status (student or clinician)
• Usage data: practice questions answered, scores, study session length, features accessed
• CEU records: course titles, providers, hours, and completion dates you log manually
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We never store card numbers.
• Device information: device type, operating system, and push notification token for notifications

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the PTverse platform
• To personalize your study experience and track your progress
• To send you CEU renewal reminders and study streak notifications (you can opt out at any time)
• To process your subscription payments
• To respond to your support requests
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Information We Do Not Collect

PTverse does not collect, store, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) about your patients. Do not enter any patient-identifying data — names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or any other PHI — into this platform. Use initials, case numbers, or fully de-identified descriptions only.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Neon — our database provider, hosted on AWS with encryption at rest
• Capgo — for delivering over-the-air app updates
• Law enforcement or regulators — only when legally required

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

8. Children

PTverse is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
